The badge icon may either mean the number of upcoming events today, or today's date. You can decide which one you want it to mean, or you can even disable this feature altogether. To configure your badge, please see the steps below:
1. Start iCalendar
2. Go to Settings (the second icon from the bottom right).
3. Scroll down to the "Badge" section. If you would like to disable the badge icon, turn the switch to OFF. Otherwise, please select the meaning that best suits your needs.
